Aachen Place Motel

The owners were very nice and very helpful. The room was great except the bathroom was an ensuite so quite inconvenient for anyone sharing (as we were). The beds were also a little too soft for both of us. But the room was spotlessly clean and we had a little outdoor seating area at the back looking out on a small garden which we really enjoyed.

Exceptionally clean and well-presented rooms. The layout worked well for us, with a queen and a single bed in the main room (and two chairs). We also appreciated the two luggage racks and small side table. The shower had excellent water pressure! We found the kitchenette well-appointed—with a bench and two stools along with everything else you need to manage for a few days away.

Location was good, only a few minutes to town centre, a Catholic church next door, had a meal at hotel 1 minute up the road, being picked up from railway station at no cost after journey on Tranz Alpine.
